2 Day Training Camp
Clinic on the 22nd & 24th of July At Willinga Park
Through The Arcadia Para Equestrian Club We are hoping to fund money, to give riders in NSW a chance to come to a 2-day training camp. The Clinic is limited to 10-12 people
Objective
The objective of the training camp is to improve horse and rider fitness, training and competition technique, and overall performance. The training camp is a relatively intensive programs conducted over two and a half days that will allow riders to focus on their sport for longer periods of time than they would at home, without the distractions of everyday life.
More specifically, this training camp will focus on:
Developing skills: Riders can focus on learning new training and competition techniques while consolidating their existing ones
Condition: Riders can improve their own and their horse’s conditioning to optimise their performance
Prepare for competitions: Riders can prepare themselves and their horses for the upcoming competition by training in the same environment they will compete in
Get used to new environments: Riders and their horses can get used to training in different environments, which can help them perform better when competing at different venues
Bond with teammates: Riders can bond with their teammates and coaches and other support crew, which can help them feel more comfortable and supported when competing
